Everything familiar has been shut down. The world has literally stopped. And because of that, I have noticed. I have been entertained by ten scissortails wrestling in mid-air with tails flared in what seemed like a pandemonium of joy. I noticed the blood moon that recently rose over Fort Worth decorating the eastern sky during Holy Week. Hosanna was the only human response. It just came out naturally, unrehearsed. Karen and I stood together on a hill that served as our stadium in this most reverent privileged moment.
Read MoreI was on another long walk today. Day after day during this pandemic I walk with God and listen. Today, I heard. It took a while, mostly because I have been a striver, an accomplisher, an achiever… But that has quieted down as the world situation has forced me to slow down and go deeper with God.
