A Place

Do you have a place? A place to which you return that is akin to a Spiritual magnet? A place where you have thought the deepest thoughts and dreamed fearless dreams. A place where hope rises and clarity of purpose returns … again and again. A place where you catch a glimpse of heaven and experience peace at another level. A place where you receive revelation that confounds normal. A place where you see His face, feel His presence and trust His love. For me it is Utopia… more specifically five miles just out of town in an unplanted oat field surrounded by the sacred hills of the Sabinal Valley. It’s a place where God first told me to write. And so I shall.

As the year begins I know it’s time to take another sacred journey to this place I don’t live, but a place my heart calls home. How about you? Where’s your place?
